Meh, I don't know. It seems to me it would be a lot more helpful to closely look at such competing claims to see what hold water and what does not. Merely dismissing differing points of view as "mere narratives" doesn't really solve any problems (unless you think ignoring problems is the solution). Personally I think that will only make problems worse.
